The League of Women Voters 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Details about the event:

You can choose to run or walk either the 5K or 1 mile route.
There’s also a Virtual Option so you can participate from anywhere.
Strollers and well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed.
$45 registration fee, with long sleeve shirt included. Price increases after Oct 28.
All Finishers receive a prize.
Funds raised will go towards furthering our mission of empowering voters and defending democracy.

Packet Pickup: 8 a.m. at Veterans Park

5K Start: 9 a.m.

1 Mile Start: shortly after.

Running packets will include your bib with number and chip for timing.
Long sleeve shirts will be available for all participants at packet pickup.
The 5K and 1 mile courses will begin at Veterans Park and go east toward the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks. See course maps below.
Strollers and well-behaved dogs on leashes are allowed.
The turnaround for both the races will be marked and volunteers will be present to make sure you don’t miss it.
We ask that everyone stay to the right side of the trail as you may pass others on their way back from the turnaround.
All finishers will receive a finisher’s prize.
We have a special surprise gift for all who sign up! We can’t wait for you to see what it is.
We will also have prizes for the winners and door prizes, so stick around after the event to see if you win!
